This page is the tap list. If a beer is on it, it is pouring. When the keg is empty it comes off the list. That is the whole system.

What's pouring right now. We keep a handful on at a time. The regular ones, plus whatever is in season. The list changes when a keg runs out. If it is on this page, it is in the glass. The names are honest.

The Light One

Year-round

A pale ale · light gold · made from grain and water and hops

5.0% ABV · On tap always · The one most people start with

It is the light one. Easy to drink, not too bitter, tastes like beer. Good if you are not sure what you want. You will probably be fine with this.

The Regular One

Year-round

A lager · crisp · cold · pale yellow

4.8% ABV · On tap always · We sell a lot of it

This is the one most people get. It is yellow and it is cold and it is good. Nothing surprising happens. That is on purpose.

The Wheat One

Year-round

A wheat beer · soft · a little cloudy · goes down easy

5.0% ABV · On tap always · Good in the summer

Made with wheat, which is why it is called that. Soft and a little cloudy and not bitter. The kind you order on a warm afternoon and then order again.

The Hoppy One

Year-round

An IPA · bitter · for the people who ask for the bitter one

6.6% ABV · On tap always · The strong-ish one

This is the hoppy one. Bitter, a little stronger, tastes like a plant. People who like IPAs order this and tell you about it. You did not have to ask.

The Dark One

Year-round · low

A stout · dark · a little like coffee · not actually heavy

4.2% ABV · On tap always · Down to the last few kegs

The dark one. It is dark and it tastes a little like coffee. Lighter than it looks, so you can have two. This is the one the serious people order. Almost out, as usual.

The Seasonal One

Seasonal

A different beer · changes with the season · here for now

6.1% ABV · On tap for a while · Here until it isn't

This one changes depending on the time of year. Right now it is whatever it is. It is good. When it runs out we will make a different one and put that here instead.

S Wholesale LOCAL ACCOUNTS

We deliver to places that are close enough to drive to. If you can get to us in an afternoon, we can get a keg to you. We run the routes ourselves, so you are not waiting on anybody else to find your back door.

We work with bars, bottle shops, and restaurants that keep a tap open for something local. We don't chase the big accounts. The list stays small enough that we know everybody on it by name.

W About STILL AT IT

Some people who liked beer decided to make beer. They got a building, put some tanks in it, and spent a while learning that brewing is mostly cleaning. The first few batches were not good. The ones after that were. That is about where the story is.

We make the beer here, in the tanks you can see through the window. We make a few that stay the same all year and one that changes. No pastry stouts, no milkshake anything, nothing that needs a paragraph to explain it. If it tastes like beer, it is doing its job.

We are not trying to be in a grocery cooler three states away. We would rather make good beer for the people who can drive over and drink it. The plan is to keep the beer good and the place small. That is the whole plan.

From the middle of town: head toward the water, turn at the bridge, then keep going until you see the building with the beer in it.

Look for the big tank out front. That's us. Park in the lot, or across the street on the weekend when the lot fills up.
