Booking
You book the nights here, directly, and nowhere else. Not through any of the listing sites. Two nights minimum, three on holiday weekends. Pick your dates and a room, see your total, and put a soft hold on it — no card is charged. A person reads every note and confirms your dates, usually within a day.
Seasons
Some parts of the year are busier than other parts of the year. When it is busy, the rooms fill up, so it is worth booking early. When it is quiet, it is quieter, which some people prefer. There is no wrong time. There is a time you want, and you should book it.
What to bring
Bring some socks, even in summer. The floors are old and the mornings are cool. Bring a book you have been meaning to get to. Bring a flashlight, because we keep the lane unlit on purpose, and the dark is the better for it.

Good To Know
If you have to cancel
Cancel fourteen or more days out and you owe nothing — no card is charged when you hold, so there is nothing to refund. Inside fourteen days we ask for one night, and we waive it if we can fill the dates. Life happens; we are reasonable about it.
Food and the kitchen
Every room has a small kitchen: a fridge, a two-burner stove, a kettle, mugs, and the basic pans. We leave coffee, tea, salt, and oil. We do not serve meals. The nearest grocery is about fifteen minutes down the road, so most people bring a bag of provisions and cook in.
Wi-Fi, signal, and emergencies
There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, on purpose. Cell coverage is patchy in the trees and steadier up by the main house, where there is also a landline you can use any time. In an emergency, the main house is staffed or reachable around the clock, and the nearest hospital is roughly twenty-five minutes away.
Who it's for
Each room sleeps two, and the whole property sleeps up to twelve across all six. It suits couples, a few friends, a small family that does not mind quiet. We are not set up for events or parties. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in two of the rooms — ask when you book.
Access & Getting Around
We would rather tell you plainly than have you arrive to a surprise. You park in a gravel lot near the main house and drive or walk to your room from there. Two rooms are fully step-free with parking at the door. The lane is unlit at night, on purpose, so a flashlight earns its place in your bag.
- A Cabin — single level, step-free, park at the door. Walk-in shower.
- A Bigger Cabin — one low step at the porch, park at the door. Tub and shower.
- The Quiet One — single level, a short gravel path from parking. Walk-in shower.
- The One With The View — single level, step-free, park at the door. Walk-in shower.
- The One On The Hill — uphill footpath, about twelve steps, not step-free. Plan accordingly.
- The Old One — two stone steps at the door, old and slightly uneven floors. Claw-foot tub.

The Whole Place
You can take all six rooms at once and have the property to yourselves — up to twelve people, the main house common room, the porch, and the fire ring by the water. People do it for a family that has grown, a small reunion, a few friends who want a quiet weekend without strangers in the next room.
Whole-property stays run $1,150–$1,375 a night depending on the season, with a two-night minimum (three on holiday weekends). One person handles your booking start to finish.
