The people behind the board

A small shop that bakes every day.

We have been at it since 2014. The same few hands mix in the dark, shape at sunrise, and put it out warm. Here is the story, the hours, and how to find the corner with the blue awning.

The small-batch part

One oven. One day's
baking at a time.

We're not a factory and we're not trying to be. Every loaf is mixed, shaped, and proofed by the same few hands, in batches small enough that we actually taste them.

The starter's older than the shop. The flour is milled down the road. We mix in the dark, shape at sunrise, and put it out warm. When the trays are empty, that's it for the day, which is why what's on the board is always worth showing up for.

“I'm Rosa. I've baked here since the first morning. If you've eaten our bread, my hands probably shaped it.”
